0 We have a number of PC's that show 'Waiting for another installation to complete' when I check status of their software updates. I have determined the problem: Using Client Center, I connected to a number of these PC’s and they all were showing the same advertisement number under “Execution requests”. It was an advertisement that had been disabled previously and is no longer necessary, so I assumed this is what was causing the problem. We deleted the advertisement from SCCM, and it is no longer showing up under “Execution Requests” when connecting w/ Client Center. However, the status still says “Waiting for another installation to complete”, and the logs still say “Install not allow as another job is still in progress”.

The problem is that the advertisment and the program were both deleted (the package still exists, there are other programs that are still utilized), and I don't know how to 'clear' this from the PC so it can proceed w/ software updates. We tested uninstalling and reinstalling the SCCM client and that resolved the issue, but as we have 500+ PCs with this status, I'd rather not use this brute force method unless absoutely necessary.
